Premier League Preview
Arsenal FC

Unai Emery's first season at Arsenal FC was a story of so near, yet so far. The Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League, but just a point behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur FC, and reached the UEFA Europa League final in Baku only to lose to London rivals Chelsea FC.
The Spaniard must now go into 2019/20 without Aaron Ramsey, who announced in February he would sign for Juventus FC this summer as a free agent, while Petr Čech has retired and both Danny Welbeck and Stephan Lichtsteiner have been released.
Arriving at The Emirates is 18-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli, who netted 10 goals in their domestic league for Ituano Futebol Clube last season and was voted as the 2019 Best Newcomer and into the 2019 Team of the Year for the Campeonato Paulista.
With former Arsenal FC midfield Edu also returning to the Club as technical director the Gunners are continuing to rebuild in the post-Arsene Wenger era having now finished outside of the top-four for three consecutive seasons.
