The Reds go again with a Premier League opener at newly-promoted Norwich City FC on Saturday 14th August. Carrow Road is a ground Liverpool FC has traditionally done well at, winning on each of the last seven visits to Norwich City FC. With 31 goals scored in those seven games we should see a few goals and it was Sadio Mané who got the winner on our last visit there in 2020. Can he do it again?
A week later Liverpool FC's first game at Anfield takes place against Burnley FC on Saturday 21st August. If all goes to plan, Anfield will again be able to host a near-capacity crowd for the first time since March 2020. Hopefully it will also be Virgil van Dijk's first home game in 11 months – how good is it to have him, Joe Gomez and Joël Matip back? – and Ibrahima Konaté could make his Anfield debut.
Jürgen Klopp's players will certainly enjoy having the Kop back in full voice a week later as on Saturday 28th August the Reds face Champions of Europe Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel's men recorded a rare Anfield victory last season, but that was with no fans inside the ground and we all know what a difference Liverpool FC supporters can make. Bring it on!

It's back to school in September and after an international break the Reds go back to Elland Road to play Leeds United FC on Sunday 12th September.
Next up at Anfield is a Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace FC, who are now managed by France legend Patrick Vieira. The Redmen beat the Eagles 2-0 at Anfield on the final day of last season to secure UEFA Champions League qualification with a Sadio Mané double – the same score again would be nice!
Saturday 25th August will be a historic day as Liverpool FC travel to London to play Brentford FC. The Bees have never played in the Premier League before and it will also be LFC's first visit to their new Brentford Community Stadium. Our last league visit was to Brentford FC's old Griffin Park ground all the way back in 1947 – 20 years before Jürgen Klopp was born!

What a start to October – Liverpool FC v Manchester City FC at Anfield. Boom! The Reds and the Cityzens are the only two clubs to have won the Premier League during the last four seasons. Even though we meet very early in the season, it should be a huge game in the title race as the winners of this fixture in the last two seasons have gone on to become Champions.
After another international break there's a return to newly-promoted Watford FC for the Redmen, but it's hard not to let the fixture scheduled for Sunday 24th October catch your eye: Manchester United FC v Liverpool FC at Old Trafford. Tasty! We'd love Liverpool FC to score four goals there again like last season.
Former LFC midfielder Adam Lallana will return to Anfield on the last weekend of October when Brighton & Hove Albion FC visit Merseyside. By the end of that match over a quarter of the Premier League season will have been played and the title-race will be taking shape.

There are four Premier League games to play in November with a trip to West Ham United FC before the international break being followed by another big game against Arsenal FC at Anfield. The Reds have won their last five Anfield league clashes versus the Gunners with Andy Robertson scoring his only goal of the season against Mikel Arteta's men when they last visited in September 2020.
The Redmen then face Southampton FC at Anfield on Saturday 27th November before a mouthwatering midweek Merseyside derby clash against Everton FC at Goodison Park, where there is now a familiar face in the manager's hot-seat.
Liverpool FC's 2005 UEFA Champions League winning boss Rafa Benitez has become only the second man to manage the Reds and the Blues by taking over at Everton FC. He follows William Barclay, who was LFC's first manager when the Club was formed 129 years ago in 1892, and with eight of the last nine Merseyside derbies at Goodison Park ending in a draw it may well be another tight encounter between the two clubs.

Christmas is coming! And December is one of the busiest months with six Premier League games to fit in between writing to Santa Claus and decorating the Christmas tree.
Our first two opponents this month are from the Midlands with an away day at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC followed by an Anfield date with Aston Villa FC. Hot on the heels after that comes a midweek meeting with Newcastle United FC – a club that Liverpool FC have scored against in each of the last 25 Premier League games at Anfield.
On the Saturday before Christmas the travelling Kop will be heading down to London to see if Liverpool FC can continue their 100% win record against Spurs in their new Tottenham Stadium. Then comes a huge Christmas double-header with Leeds United FC visiting Anfield on Boxing Day and two days later the Reds facing former manager Brendan Rodgers with a trip to Leicester City FC. Mo Salah scored in both of those games last season so if he can do the same again it will hopefully be a Merry Christmas for Liverpool FC!

There's nothing like getting a new year off to a flying start and Liverpool FC will need to be at their best to take all three points on the first day of 2022. The Premier League fixture list sends the Reds to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea FC on 1st January – what an explosive start to the year!
That game might be the last we see of Mo Salah, Sadio Mané and Naby Keita for a few weeks as the delayed 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations takes place in Cameroon between 9th January and 6th February 2022.
With Egypt, Senegal and Ghana having all qualified, it means our three African stars are likely to be absent when the Bees of Brentford FC buzz up to Anfield on Saturday 15th January, and also for Liverpool FC's trip to the Palace – that's Crystal Palace FC, not the one the Queen lives in – a week later. Jordan Henderson scored in the Reds' 7-0 win at Selhurst Park last season, LFC's record away victory in the Premier League.

There are another four Premier League games to play in February. The boys are going to be busy and the first game sees Leicester City FC head over to Anfield for a midweek fixture before the Reds visit Turf Moor, where Nat Phillips headed his first Liverpool FC goal against Burnley FC in May.
Adrian made his LFC debut the last time Norwich City FC played at Anfield and they return to Merseyside on Saturday 19th February before the Redmen travel back to London to face Arsenal FC at the Emirates Stadium.
Liverpool FC beat Arsenal FC 3-0 there in April with Diogo Jota coming off the bench to score twice. The Portuguese forward also scored against the Gunners at Anfield so hopefully he keeps his good run going against them!

With an international break to slot in at the end of the month it means there is only space to play three Premier League games and the first of those will see West Ham United FC visit Anfield on Saturday 5th March. Mo Salah needs just one more goal against the Hammers to equal John Toshack's club-record of 10 goals against West Ham United FC so don't be surprised if he scores!
Liverpool FC's only away Premier League game in March is a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion FC, before there's a must-see Anfield clash with Manchester United FC on Saturday 19th March.
Alisson has kept clean sheets in both of United's last two visits to Anfield and there have been some memorable games including a 3-1 Liverpool FC win in December 2018 when Xherdan Shaqiri scored twice. It might also be a vital game in the title race so don't miss this one!

You might hear some pundits say we're 'at the business end of the season' when we get into April. They're talking about the business of trying to win trophies so it will be a huge month in the Premier League for Liverpool FC.
After beginning April by playing Watford FC at Anfield, the Reds head down the East Lancashire Road to face Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 9th April. Will it be a title-decider? Maybe! Afterwards there will only be six games left to play, beginning with a trip to Aston Villa FC on Easter Saturday. A win there would be egg-cellent!
The big games keep coming thick and fast and on Saturday 23rd April, Everton FC cross Stanley Park to play in Rafa Benitez's first Merseyside derby at Anfield as manager of the Blues. Divock Origi has scored five goals against Everton FC at Anfield so maybe our derby-day specialist will strike more fear in the hearts of Evertonians! The month ends with Liverpool FC travelling to the North East to face Newcastle United FC at St James' Park.

The Premier League title race reaches a climax in May and Liverpool FC have three games to play during the run-in. On Saturday 7th May the Redmen take on Tottenham Hotspur FC at Anfield and that is followed by our final away day against Southampton FC at St Mary's.
Liverpool FC's Premier League campaign then ends with a home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and if Jürgen Klopp's Reds can do what they did in season 2019/20 – win the Premier League – that will also be the day when Jordan Henderson lifts the Premier League Trophy.
There's a lot of football to play, and many twists and turns to come, before we can think about moments like that, but season 2021/22 promises to be an exciting one for Liverpool FC and we can't wait for the big kick-off on Saturday 15th August at Norwich City FC. Up the Reds!
