LFC Official Member meets Klopp
We ran a competition for Teen Members to design the front cover of the Liverpool FC v Tottenham Hotspur FC matchday programme. The winner, Elizabeth Holt, painted an image of LFC Manager Jürgen Klopp, so as part of the prize we took Elizabeth down to Melwood to meet the man himself.
LFC Official Membership Christmas Party
Alberto Moreno, Danny Ings, Brad Garton and Corey Whelan delighted youngsters when they paid a very special visit to a Christmas party at Anfield for young Reds on 22nd December.
Organised by LFC Official Membership in partnership with Red Neighbours and Liverpool FC Foundation, the fantastic festive event was certainly an afternoon to remember for 100 junior fans.
As well as a visit from Santa himself with a Christmas gift for each child, Club mascot Mighty Red also paid a special visit to join in the fun and afternoon of games. The players also posed for pictures with the children.
Alberto, Brad and Corey helped with the raffle which gave away some fantastic prizes including match tickets, a signed football and a signed shirt.
Video Call
We recently ran a competition for a Member to win the chance to have a Video Call with First Team LFC players.
In November we invited Simon Mignolet and Ragnar Klavan down to the LFCTV Studio to have a video call with the winner Ilias, who is from Greece.
Away Match Screenings
We have had Away Match Screenings for both our Mighty Red and our Teen Red Members this season.
With our Mighty Reds we invited 25 down to Anfield to watch LFC on the big screen as they took on Swansea City FC at the Liberty Stadium.
The Mighty Red Members had taken part in a competition to secure their place on the Away Screening event, which allowed them and an adult to watch Liverpool FC in the Reds Lounge at Anfield.
But that wasn’t all that the day included: the young fans got the chance to take a mini Tour of Anfield and have their photos taken next to the pitch; they enjoyed Hospitality in the Reds Lounge with delicious food and drink; the Club’s official mascot Mighty Red made an appearance; and there was the opportunity for signatures and photos with him before they watched the match together and saw LFC secure another 3 points as the result finished 1-2 to the Reds.
To finish of the day each of the Members received a goody bag to take away as a memento of their time at Anfield.
Member interviews an LFC Legend
Following on from our Members' Area competition to win the chance to interview a Legend, we invited one lucky Member down to the LFCTV Studio to meet former LFC striker John Aldridge.
The lucky Member, Daniel, got to ask John about what it meant to play for LFC and much more.
