Sadio Mane will have hoped his birthday didn't go as quickly as he can run! The Senegalese speedster turned 26 on 10th April, the day of Liverpool FC's Champions League quarter-final second leg 2-1 win at Manchester City FC. Happy belated birthday Sadio!

Two of his Anfield team-mates had already had their April birthdays by then. Nathaniel Clyne was born in London on 5th April 1991, making him 27 years old, while although our young striker Rhian Brewster was born on 1st April 2000 the 18-year-old is no April Fool in front of goal! Watch out for Rhian when he's back from injury next season.
Loads of Liverpool FC legends also have April birthdays including defender Tommy Smith (5th April 1945) who was so hard they nicknamed him 'the Anfield Iron', Ian Callaghan (1942) whose 857 appearances for the Reds is a club record and Robbie Fowler, aka 'God', who turned 43 on 9th April and fired home 183 goals for the Redmen!
Two key members of our 2005 Champions League success were also born in April with right-back Steve Finnan (24th April) now aged 42 while former Liverpool FC boss Rafa Benitez, currently in charge at Newcastle United FC, celebrated his 58th birthday on 16th April.
